Our investment committees

Investment committees are at the heart of community credit. In addition, these committees are a unique feature of AMCGÎM compared to other financial support organizations in the region. In fact, each promoter who applies for funding from the organization must present their project to the investment committee.

Each territory (MRC) has its own community investment committee. Composed of entrepreneurs, stakeholders in the socio-economic sector and individuals with a passion for entrepreneurship, the role of these committees is at the very heart of Accès Microcrédit Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine’s activities and the financing it offers. In fact, these are the people who analyze the loan applications submitted to us. With their experience, expertise and knowledge of the community, these people are in the best position to understand the realities and issues related to starting a business in their community.
