Mélanie Miville | MRC Haute-Gaspésie
Mélanie has spent most of her career working with the public. An assistant manager at the IGA for several years, she then decided to work with seniors in a residence. Ms. Miville worked there for over 4 years, before going to work for Aki Sushi in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. At the time, she was looking for a new challenge.
After three years as an employee of the Aki Sushi franchise in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, the former owner offered Mélanie the chance to buy back the franchise. Ms. Miville tells us that she thought about the offer for several months, before finally deciding to take the plunge and buy the franchise. This entrepreneur jumped into the business world at the beginning of the pandemic. As a new entrepreneur, she had to juggle the new challenges of starting a business, but also the uncertainties of COVID.
The loan granted by AMCGÎM allowed Mélanie to acquire the franchise.
