Networking Breakfast: Expanding Your Network and Collaboration Opportunities

Maria, May 7, 2024 – Accès Microcrédit Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine invites all freelancers and artists from the MRC Rocher-Percé and surrounding areas to a networking breakfast focusing on Expanding Your Network and Collaboration Opportunities. The meal will be provided free of charge to participants and will take place on June 5, 2024, starting at 8 a.m., at Îlot Bistro & Marché in Grande-Rivière.

In the form of a friendly guided discussion, our invited panelists will share their collaboration experiences and provide insights to guide participants in developing their own networks. The objective of the activity is to promote entrepreneurial ecosystems between freelancers and artists, encouraging participants to collaborate and leverage the strengths of their networks. Why? Because the opportunities that these relationships bring are often underestimated! As the saying goes, “Alone we go faster, but together we go further”!

About Accès Microcrédit Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine

AMCGÎM is a unique intermediary that allows the local community to support its entrepreneurial community. It offers technical support and flexible, accessible financing for projects up to $20,000 per entrepreneur. Since its creation in 2005, our organization has supported over 140 entrepreneurs with loans totaling nearly $881,000, sourced from community funds. In many cases, these are entrepreneurs in precarious situations for whom obtaining the necessary support for their project would have been difficult.

AMCGÎM also stands out for its offering of expertise-sharing workshops and personalized support tailored to the needs of the entrepreneur. This support is free and not conditional on a loan from the organization. Since its inception, AMCGÎM has supported over 450 individuals, whether for sporadic needs (accounting, marketing) or long-term support (business planning, financial planning, financing search, accounting follow-up, marketing, etc.). This support increases the long-term survival chances of the business. These services are fully bilingual, and we have a resource specifically dedicated to English-speaking communities.

AMCGÎM is a member of the MicroEntreprendre network. Founded in 2000, MicroEntreprendre is a unique tool for economic development and poverty alleviation, comprising 20 organizations serving 17 administrative regions of Quebec.
